Felix Feon Holloway Indicted for February Indicent that led to Manhunt
Felix Feon Holloway, 51, was indicted on April 17th for charges stemming from a February 2024 incident that led to day long manhunt off Highway 29 N

COWETA COUNTY – On April 17th a Coweta County Grand Jury returned a true bill of Indictment against Felix Feon Holloway, 51, of Newnan, for a February 2nd incident that occurred at a residence off Lucious Johnson Rd and led to an unsuccessful manhunt by the Coweta County Sheriff’s Office. Holloway would turn himself in within days after the incident.

Just before 3:30 AM on February 2nd, 2024, E911 received a call from a resident at a location in the 100 block of Lucious Johnson Rd stating that their mother had been stabbed.

Deputies with the CCSO as well as medical units with Coweta County Fire Rescue were dispatched to the scene. Deputies arrived at the location and secured the scene for medical units to treat multiple victims. The suspect, Felix Feon Holloway had run from the scene prior to the arrival of deupties.

Information from the victims at the scene led deputies to believe that Holloway had crossed over North Highway 29 and into the woods. Deputies using k9’s, drones, and teams of patrol officers would spend the next 6 to 7 hours searching for Holloway, finding only what was believed to be his bloody clothes along the train tracks between the residence and North Highway 29.

5 days after the incident, on February 9th, Holloway would turn himself in to the authorities. He was booked into the Coweta County Jail on the charges listed below where he has remained without bond.

The next hearing in the case is set for May 20th, 2024.

Defendant Information

Holloway has an extensive criminal history in Coweta County.

In March of 1991 Holloway was sentenced to probation ( details unknown ) for the charges of Enter Auto w/intent to Commit Theft, and Theft by Taking. Proceeding notes show that this probation was revoked by his next case.

Months later, in May of 1991, Holloway was charged under three separate Superior court cases. These cases caused his probation from the March case to be revoked. The first case was for the offense of Aggravated Assault, while the second was for the offense of Robbery, and finally the third case was for the offense of Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon.

All three cases, as well as the probation revocation from the March case, were sentenced together. He received 10 years to serve. Proceeding records show that he was paroled from state prison in October of 1994. Records also show that he was released from Parole on June 6th, 2001.

In September 2007 Holloway was indicted on the following charges: Battery ( M ), Burglary, and Robbery. He entered what’s described in the proceedings as a “Best Interest” or “Alford” Negotiated Plea. As a part of that plea, he received 6 months of probation on the Battery charge and 10 years of probation as well as 18 to 24 months in Coweta County Work Release on both the Robbery and Burglary charges – all to be served concurrently.

In October of 2008, the proceedings show that his probation was revoked and he was sentenced to 9 years and 5 months to serve. The proceedings all show that he was paroled on May 16th, 2012.

Georgia Department of Corrections records show that Holloway served just short of a year in state prison between 1/2015 and 1/2016. I’ve searched the case records and haven’t been able to find any records in the prior cases that relate to this time in prison, however, given the GDoC records it seems logical to assume that it was caused by some type of probation or parole revocation. It’s also possible that the crime that caused the revocation was charged in state or municipal court and the information would be found there.

Finally, in September of 2019, Holloway was indicted on the following charges: Battery, Family Violence, Cruelty to Children – 3rd Degree (M), and Felony Probation Violation. The proceedings don’t provide a disposition for the Probation Violation but do show that he again entered a “Best Interest” or “Alford” Negotiated Plea and received 5 years of probation for the Battery, Family Violence charge and 12 Months of probation for the Cruelty to Children – 3rd Degree (M) charge. At least one of the probation violation charges found on his booking is tied to this case.
