Jeremey Dequain Davis enters Negotiated Plea Deal for his role in the October 2019 death of 2 year old Conner Perry.

As part of a plea deal entered just as jury selection was to start for a trail, Davis has pleaded guilty to 2 counts:

in return for his guilty plea Davis was charged to Life in Prison ( chance of parole ) on the felony murder charge and 20 years for the cruelty to children charge. The sentences were merged. The plea deal also saw the prosecution drop the remaining 9 charges against Davis.

In May of 2023 the Judge agreed to severe the case against Davis and Conner’s mother Trinity Pittman, allowing each defendant to go to separate trials.

Pittman’s case is still ongoing and does not currently have a trial date set.
