Who We Are

NCST Reports publishes long-form reports and related articles. This site is operated by R41D41 Industries, LLC, a Georgia limited liability company.

Information We Collect

When You Read the Site

Our hosting and content-delivery provider (Cloudflare) automatically receives technical data such as your IP address, approximate location (for example country), browser type, and the pages you request. We use this to operate, secure, and diagnose the site.

Analytics

If Google Analytics 4 is enabled, Google may collect usage data (pages viewed, approximate location, device/browser) through cookies or similar technology. Analytics is not loaded when you are signed in as an administrator.

Ask a Question

If you submit a question on a report page, we collect:

The question text (required)
Your name and email address, only if you choose to provide them so we can reply
Technical details used to reduce spam and abuse: IP address, Cloudflare country (and city/region/timezone when provided), browser user agent, language, and Cloudflare request identifiers
A bot-check token from Cloudflare Turnstile

If we publish a question and answer on an article, we display the question and our answer only—not your name, email, or IP information.

Administrators

Staff who log in use an essential session cookie so the editor stays signed in. Login credentials are stored as a password hash. We do not use that session for public analytics.

To publish and deliver reports and articles
To review, answer, and (if we choose) publish questions
To email an answer if you provided an address and we send a reply (via SMTP2GO)
To prevent spam, abuse, and technical problems
To understand how the public site is used (analytics)

We do not sell your personal information.

Cookies and Similar Technology

Essential: the admin session cookie (ncstreport) for signed-in editors
Security: Cloudflare and Turnstile may set cookies or similar data to distinguish people from bots
Analytics: Google Analytics cookies when GA4 is enabled for visitors

Who Processes Data for Us

Cloudflare — hosting, CDN, security, Turnstile
Google — Analytics 4, when enabled
SMTP2GO — sending reply emails you requested

Retention

We keep questions, answers, and related technical logs as long as needed to operate the site, handle abuse, and maintain published Q&A. Server and CDN logs follow those providers’ retention practices.

Your Choices

You can read the site without creating an account. Name and email on a question are optional. You may use browser controls to block non-essential cookies; blocking them may affect analytics or bot checks.

If you submitted a question with an email address and want it deleted or updated, contact us at [email protected]. We may still retain limited records where we must (for example security or legal obligations).

Children

This site is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Security

We use HTTPS, access controls for the admin area, and bot protection on the question form. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Changes

We may update this policy. The effective date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
